Only you have all the answers really.

How much work do you think there is to do?

How many hours per week will it take you?

How many weeks will he want you to do that for?

Together with: how much do you charge per hour?

So you should be able to work out a sum, then you have to decide whether that sum is more or less than you'd be willing to pay for said mower.

My guess is that you'd be better of just taking the hit now and start earning money not repaying favours.

Yes i understand that part and i know what i can earl with it. however i DONT know how much its worth regardless of giving him hours or paying him on the nose.

I have no idea how much it will cost to service, ill call the dealer tomorrow and get a quote.
