Jonsered saw identification & new silencer needed

Hi a customer brought this old beastie in the other day for a new silencer , old saw runs perfect ,i can not see any model details on the saw so does anyone know what model it is please??

Also if anyone has a decent silencer please drop me a P.M

Think that also . Distinctive 2 part back handle unlike the 625 ..:001_smile:

 

The only other model it could be is a 62 with a 621 handlebar and handguard. A pic of the handlebar mount on the other side of the saw will tell for sure. :001_smile:

 

Btw, it isn't a Jonsered, but a Jonsereds!

 

The 621 was introdused in 1970 as an updated version of the 62 (1968). They were stellar saws in their prime time, and a lot of them are still going strong! :biggrin:

 

The 621 was replaced by the Husky made 630 in 1982.

Everything points at a 621. :001_smile:

 

Btw, what is the serial number (it is on a small metal plate at the rear of the saw).

 

I would look at Ebay etc (USA, not just UK) for a muffler or a parts saw with a decent muffler.
