so last sat was having a rollie in the garden, and noticed that next door had their sprinkler on, in their bed just the other side of the fence. no problem, but ive just got back home today, and it was still running. its absolutly water logged our side beds, which happens to have in it a fourt five year old beautiful shaped acer palmatum, and a thirty year old dissectum atropurpureum. had a massive go at her(shes very dipsy) but now bit stuck what to do, anyone have any ideads? ive put some 1"x4ft deep drain holes in.are they going to be ok do you think? if they die, any legal advise as they are worth alot. cheers

They'll be fine - the drainage may not even be needed: after all they come through the winter rains in dormancy so in the growing season I'd be surprised if they suffer from a dowsing. Talk to them too!

Problem solved.

Though if you've had a go maybe she won't do it again or maybe extend the height of the fence near there? Sorry no real good advice apart from the umbrella hat obviously.

Edit: Obviously put the brolly on the tree not yourself.
