Hi looks like the 9000 module is no longer available and the 9010 is expensive as you need flywheel and mod So I'm looking for a scrap saw or as I asked is there a bolt on chip I know back in the day we used to fit little atom chips to big stihls with eletric ignitions. I think they worked on the 056 with boch ignitions that failed when they got hot . if I remember we used them on other engine kholer and the like

Ok iv cleened all the earth points rubbed up the polls and magnets fitted a new ht lead removed the tag lead and tried again nothing then I took a leap of insanity and grabbed the bare end of the ht and rested my hand on the pot gave her a good pull wel bugger me she gave me a good shock so I closed the gap on the plug and got a week spark put her all together and still no go no spark again but still giving me a good shock I guess the coil side of the ignition must be the problem as the trigger is working what next
