Hiya

Once I've stopped after driving for a while I have diesel on top of the tank of my 2001 tw150. It has a metal tank, not the plastic one. Do you think it's the filler cap leaking? I'm thinking of just getting one of the petrol station ones to see if it stops it but I seem to recollect that the key hole on the locking cap is the breather too, is that the case?

Cheers

Hello

The locking fuel caps used on Timberwolf machines have a spring loaded ball in the cap itself for venting purposes.

It always difficult to identify where a leak is coming from and it may be easier to take the machine to your nearest Timberwolf dealer for investigation.

Your nearest authorised dealer can be found from the website Wood Chippers, Industrial Chippers, Specialist Shredders - Timberwolf and looking under the dealer locator.

Hope this helps :thumbup1:

Thanks for the advice on the cap. I'll give it all a real good clean and see if I can find the source, if not, I'll let the experts have a look 😀

Hello again

It's definitely the cap that's leaking. Will a new one fit a 2001 tank before I order one online?
