im doing a portfolio for pest and diseases at college and i photographed this fungi on an ash tree. looking in fungi books and on the internet i cant seem to find out what it is. any ideas? cheers

the last 2 pics look very similar to the one i found and also a lot bigger! i put Polyporus squamosus into google and it came up with a link to wikipedia which had a lot of information on the fungi...how reliable wikipedia is though can be questionable! lol
