Looks like it will work well with soft wood, have you tried it yet with any hardwood species?.

Looks like a great investment,happy for your future success.

Providing the blade is sharp then it cuts hardwood with relative ease. Having used it for a week now it really is a great bit of kit, so much faster and easier for the lads especially with Hawthorn.

 

The job we are currently doing is pollarding at 2m and this resolves the issue of using a saw at that height.
