Hi I have been given a Jonsered 2050 that I was planning to get going to use as a backup saw the cylinder looks good on it but as it is apart I may as well put a new piston and ring on it as it looks pretty worn. I just wondered if anyone knew of a piston supplier for these saws could not see much on ebay or other online chainsaw parts websites. I did read it was the same 44mm piston as used in the husqvarna 49. If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful to hear them.

Thanks

Matt

how interchangeable are they? quite a few 44mm husky pistons on ebay

If they fit may vary with the stroke they are made for, The 2050 etc. has a 32mm stroke, some later Huskys and Jonsereds have a 32.5mm one.
