28" ON A 365xt

Anyone using a bar this length , if so how would it hold up for occasional use ?

Used to years ago, won't set the world alight. Keep chain sharp and give it its time and it will do or occasional use.

Thought of buying a 28 bar for my 365 special also,

Would be for occasional use.

Would i benefit from this size bar? During winter i fell trees for my stove, thats all.

But sometimes they are 22+ diameter.

Maybe changing the cilinder to 72 in the future.

The 365xt will perform like the 372xpxt if the restrictors in the transfer covers are ground away.

The operator`s manual allows up to 28" but when I select the bar I had in mind at Jones site it only lists the 24" as suitable - Husqvarna 3/8" .058 solid chainsaw bar with replaceable tip | F R Jones and Son . Am I right in thinking it would be the 92 link chain at full chisel ? . Maybe best to phone them up before ordering . I`m not felling , just ringing up windfall trees for our woodburner , mainly ash and chestnut .

Yeah oregon type 73 full chisel, 92 links for a 28" bar.
