Has anyone had to deal with Arborisk for a claim? I'm extremely wary of choosing cheapest as I'm four months into a still unresolved car insurance claim and been through a horror of an ordeal because I went for the cheapest option. I've only just sent away my Sole Trader application to the HMRC this morning and have started shopping about for public liability insurance.

 

Also, is public liability insurance a legal requirement and are there any other insurances legally required?

I've had 2 claims through my insurance company (Trust 01604 492644) both sorted within a couple of weeks.

do not know if its legal but mad not to have it in case of a claim could ruin you if you had no insurance. out of interest i have 10 mil as per HCC guidlines i found it as cheap for this amount than for the lower 5 or 2 mil.

i use a firm called concored insurance eastleigh speak to neil does all my insurance and its not a major firm with a call centre so speak to the man.

done me a good deal.

I wouldn't dare work without public liability. I was just wondering if there is anything stating that it is. It's more knowledge to show customers.

Hampshire county council who i contract to for work there guidlines like alot of councils now want 10 mil cover and 2 mil enviroment cover. which my insurance has both
