hi all, just a quick question, I have had my PA2 for a few years now and and someone told me that I have to retake it every 5 years? do I have to retake my PA2 test again

No, unless you're a member of NASOR or NROSO, which require you to refresh every few years

With noroso you have to get 30 point over 3 years and I dont think they run out
