Afternoon all

Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice. I've a 440zx pto chipper that seems to engage hydraulics when it feels like it. I've tried it at 540 and this is when it works intermittently.

I'm going to change the pto shaft to 1000 today. Anyone think this will help? Is it ok to run the chipper at this speed?

The control box on the chipper shows a speed of 800. I guess this is flywheel speed?

Any info much appreciated!

Thanks

Paul

Managed to get in touch with a chap from overland who sorted it out. It's to be run at 1000. Just had the tractor swapped over today and looking forward to giving it a run out early next week, fingers crossed!
