i'd say they are tricky rather than impossible. you need to dry them very slowly but to be fair they don't have much use as planks as they don't get used for furniture really. they would be much better cut and milled in to waney planks to be cut in to bowl blanks when dry or cut straight in to squares ready for turnery.

i'd be very surprised (and disappointed) if a turnery shop that milled there own blanks did not want them...
