Copper Beech Stem anyone?

I was called out to try and sort out a large copper beech tree which came down over xmas, having spent a day clearing everything above the crown break i realised that cutting up the stem was going to be quite a job for my 461 and a 25" bar. so i'm wondering if anyone wants to come and grab lift it away. i've heard beech is worth quite a bit. it is slightly rotten at the base but not hollow and has no sign of rot up near the crown break. it is lying next to the road and must be nearly 5ft diameter and 15ft long.

i'm hoping to save the client some money as the tree managed to smash roof tiles and most of the windows on the front of house and their insurance company are being very difficult. its located in Sydenham in SE London. any advice or contact details would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

beech isn't that expensive and can be bought for about £2 per hoppus foot maybe a bit more for top quality which that isn't and looking at the tree i reckon there is 80-100 hoppus feet in it so they might get £200 max.

still worth milling though as i hate to see anything get wasted on the fire...

perhaps if the split all the logs they could get another £100 worth of firewood? if they can get a car load of the small logs to j7 of the m4 i'll happily buy some.
