though it would be worth asking if anyone could shed some light on an issue im having ??

339xp, oils fine when ran up in shed, holding on side makes no difference, oil adjustment works as should.. then you get it warm ie cutting timber and the fun starts :confused1: wont oil at all, not none, not a drip, nothing..

so far replaced worm drive (behind clutch), adjuster screw, replaced filter in oil tank, checked pipes are clear /connected and in decent order..

also with clutch and worm drive removed i can see the piston and when pushed forward pumps oil out in decent quantity, cant see any damage either.. any ideas??

Blocked oil hole in the bar, is the bar compressing the rubber oil feed channel and closing it - not sure if it has one as unfamiliar with the model!

I've had other issues with my 2007 339xp, but never an oiling issue. so I can't help.

The saw is a NE one, but neverthless it developed a carb issue and an intake leak - both fixed "on warranty" 3 1/2 years after I bought the saw! :001_smile:
