Otter Carve Progress

Here is my current progress on an Otter Carve at a County Park in the West Midlands. Its my first stump carve on an English Oak which was felled due to tree roots damaging the courtyard, causing many issues.

The carve is raised on a flower bed with wooden seating around the outside. (Covered with flowers once done)

Its been great fun creating the carving and hopefully it will turn out well once im done. Think i still need to slim it down and then start on the features to provide hopefully a delightful carve in a popular location. The only thing i think id have done different from this stage on is create larger legs that hang down from the body. Still next time ill know :-)
