Bought 550xp in July and love it But two weeks ago the long threaded part of the chain adjuster snapped for no apparent reason. Contacted the supplier who checked with manufacturer and said it wasn't covered by warranty and are charging nearly £30 for replacement. It begs the question what does a warranty cover?

No need for the suppliers name, they don't write the warranty

If it's a manufacturing flat it should be covered, I think that screw and the exhaust are about the only bits on my saw that haven't needed replacement under warranty, get new 1 tomorrow so hope it's a better saw.
