yea, i know i will have to progress on certain things, like getting faster in the tree, but i got top anchor and did my branch walks in about 40 mins. which isnt bad seeming it took one guy 80 minutes to get his rope into the tree.

getting faster in the tree comes with time and experience just concentrate on doing the job safely and as easily as possible dont think because jimbo is racing aound the stems like a primate on amphetamine that you can do the same or even HAVE to do the same . Work on your positioning and movement around the tree im sure there are lots of us who have tried to leap before we limb walk and regretted it in one way or another ( cuts ,bruises etc etc ) all because of trying to get the job done too quickly ....

When have you got cs39 ?

Our local college will let you do CS38 Climb tree & perform rescue, without CS30. But CS 39 cannot be done until CS30,31&38 have been done, well thats what the dafty training co-ordinator told me.
