Chest waders and a long and short manual hand scythe, back breaking work though-would be interesting to have some pictures and an update with just what kit you end up using...Regards, Nick Pearson, Timberline-Roe Ltd.

I looked at a job this week cutting reed in a stream, depth between 1ft -8ft.

anybody want to do the job in Dorset. a reed boat has been suggested but its not that much work? advice appreciated

 

Digger with a reed cutter would be the best if access allows one to get close enough.
