just a quick one. what length rope do you all use for your short rope. i have a nice long rope but am a bit reluctant to chop a bit off the end. was thinking about getting a 20m bit. nothing worse than reeling 45m through the tree.

i have a 25 two 35's a 10 and a 15 i also have a short tail side strop

 

normally use the 35 sometimes with the 10 if i need two ropes

Many of the cheaper ropes can be bought off the reel so just get whatever you want. 20-25 m is big enough for many jobs and not too big for fruit trees and the like. I have a piece of Hi Vee that does that job.:001_smile:
