FdSc Arb (online)

Hello tree people, thanks for having me.

The bottom line is that I intend to get on the FdSc Arboriculture online course via Myerscough college in September next year and would like to know what I can read and research, before then, to get a leg up (not over, it's online).

I have NC Arb from Merrist Wood about 11 years ago and have been in the industry since then, in varying roles. I passed and let go of ISA Certified Arborist (passed it in Canada where it's needed, and let it go when I returned to UK, silly I know). I have a pretty rounded knowledge and consider myself to be up to date but spent most of the time on a rope so a little unsure as what to expect with the next step of education.

What can start looking at to engage my brain for next year?

Also, I need to complete a pre entry assignment due to my NC not racking up enough UCAS points. Any ideas what the assignment might be?

Thanks for reading and I welcome any advise (other than don't do it:)

Ben
