Strimmer head adaptor

Just got a stihl fs56 an aint a bad little strimmer. But i cant find the size of the shaft which the adaptor goes onto if some one could tell which i need that b great.

Take it in to your local dealer cos you will need to buy from there anyways!!!!

What part of the shaft do you mean. The part on the head and you need an adaptor the size of the new head?

 

One like these things. I'm sure this was covered a short while ago. Off my head I can't remember the size, but I can look tomoz.

Im not a head im after a adaptor that screws on so you can fit differnt heads im after the size of the shaft i cant find it in the manual

You've just got a FS56 but need a different head???? what happened to the one you got with the machine? very confused?

That what im after GTR i beed the size of the shaft that you screw the head on to so i can get an adaptor to fit. I use heads from central spare that you wind the line out of think there called high speed manual cutting head or something like that

I prefer the heada i used on my other machine but need an adaptor to fit one to the stihl
