evening all, I have one of the above but I cant see how to increase the diesel pump :confused1:.. it seems to rely purely on rev and just doesn't sound like its really working as hard as it should when chipping..

 

any help welcome :001_smile:

get a tachometer to read the rpm before you do anything it could be a fuel restriction then see what you should have. also check that the throttle cable is pulling the rack up to the stop

we recently had a air leak on the fuel system so its had a new lift pump as one of the one way valves was a little shot, also all pipes and clips have been renewed together with new filter and a tank clean, its always seemed to not have the grunt it should..

 

the throttle opens fully and has a adjustable stop on the body, originally the engine was from a military generator and was running set rev using this stop which I have adjusted to let it rev however it only uses a gallon and a half per day running all day? never blows any smoke even under strain..
