DR Field and Brush mower running problem

So.004 cold and .006 hot on intake and

 

.006 cold and .006 on exhaust.

 

Not too hard to find out I guess.

 

Cheers. Just sent those on to the man who is doing the work. We are also having another oil change and replacement gasket as the old on was leaking a bit.

Just heard from the man doing the work, it appears when the gasket was replaced a small amount of gasket sealant got into the rocker and was holding the valves open but it looks like a fair bit of damage has been done to the valves seals and carb due to the ignition and blow back through the valves. It is repairable but its only a temp fix until it happens again.

Valve seals can be replaced properly and the carb can be renewed, so why is it a temporary fix?

 

Maybe you need an new fixer!
