Busmans Holiday.

So I'm off for my annual trip down to the Under-cliffs, between Lyme Regis and Axmouth.

I love it down there. 2 weeks brush-cutting and raking and I get to camp in one of the most amazing spots to be found in the south of the UK. Last year I saw 5 people in all the time I was there, 4 of them were walkers who turned up for 20 mins one morning, and the other was the Reserve Manager from Natural England, who dropped in to have lunch.

For those of you who have never been, I really suggest you do.

The under-cliffs are completely dominated by Ash and this place could be very different indeed in a couple of decades, so do it soon.

Anyway, usually allow myself one day off, last year I went fossil hunting and found an enormous matrix (30Kg), which I then had to struggle back down the beach for 3 miles with (now one of my sons proudest possessions).

Your suggestions for my day off this year please.
