Hi got my alpina in the house waiting for me when I got in from work. I put it on the garden, checked it over, put it together put some 2 stroke in the tank, fired it up and boom! right handside o the garden cut in less than a minute! It runs well, smooth power and it cuts very well, no wobbles or anything. Alpina star 45 off a shop on the 'bay. £50 pounds bought, £35 or so for delivery :) Now to find some work for it.

Sounds good - but

Why didn't you send off for a St.... - oh no I can't be bothered

Were you going to say stihl? I don't like their strimmers. They don't sit well for me or anything. Some of the newer models shake like mad at low revs, too.
