planning permission

Wouldn't mind doing a few days, when I'm free on that. Used to do a lot of building work until the tools took over.

Looks like a really good project. How is the actuall structure of the building doing? No movement in foundations etc. is it cracking up. Or does it need underpinning?

How restricted are you on how much the original structure can be changed?

You are very lucky to be able to live and repair on a good looking site like that.

There's something similar up the road from me. You can hardly see the house now as ivy has grown up onto the roof. It is a beautiful site with full planning permission on an old barn in worse condition than the house! The owners are living in la la land with their asking price though as it has remained un sold for more then three years.

The structure isn't bad movement on one wall. the render is coming off. and it probably needs underpinning but I'm hoping to knock down and rebuild.

have the piece of paper from the council to say I have planning permission with conditions i.e. exterior finishes windows and doors. Now we can submit the plans for the garage hopefully it won't take five years this time

Nice one, John. Things seem to be moving. :thumbup1:
