Hi, my lovely wood chipper is broken...

engine don't want to start, all lamps are Ok, ignition is Ok, but then engine just stop.

I think that I have a problem with Speed Switch(Woodward EPS 1000), on channel 2 is red lamp burning, stop button, and others sensors are working correct.

I'm in deep s..... in PL I don't have a Timberwolf service, what I should to do.

Any idea?

Hi KGmyrek

Sorry to hear of your chipper problem, The Kubota engine fitted to your chipper has a fuel shut off solenoid fitted at the rear of the diesel injector pump which controls the supply of fuel to the engine. This solenoid has 2 coils fitted within it.

Coil 1 (pull) electrical supply comes via the crank position of the ignition switch which allows the engine to fire up. Coil 2 (hold) electrical supply comes via the EPS1000 from terminal 17 this takes over from Coil 1 once the ignition switch is returned to the ignition on position.

You may have a problem with the EPS1000 which could require changing or it may be asociated with the water temperature or oil pressure circuits.

Your local Timberwolf dealer should be able to help you test this, or advise if the problem is elsewhere. you can find your nearest Timberwolf dealer by looking at the website Timberwolf UK | Introduction

Hope this helps
