Crumbs Goaty - I am rapidly going off Laburnum! Toxic wood.. We have hens and ducks who scrabble around the bonfire site so won't be burning it then!

 

Beautiful bowl Chunkymunky...our little tree might have made a wooden serving spoon to go with it!!

 

I think we will have to take it to the nearby woods and hope some old witch takes it to make a new broomstick!

Lol that wasn't one of mine. But very nice isn't it. Large pieces go for good money at seasoned lumber auctions locally. Sold a dozen rounds 2 foot long by 6 inches for £65 for 6 of yew unseasoned. One piece of laburnum that size went for the same money.
