Wood chip question

Recommended Posts

Used fresh chip on a customers garden last week looks nice , however I left the green bits (conifer) in with them so couple of questions :

 

1 = has anyone else done this ?

2 = is it better to stock it up and let it mulch a bit

3= if left to mulch , how long for ?

Basically just a light scattering over some Terram ( think thts how u spell it ) as a decorative area for the customer to place pots on , they are really pleased with it and so am I but if this is a problem Id go and correct it
