What to do with an old Tulip Tree

Thinking long term with the tree, This species layers well. You could if there was suffeceint length from a shoot lower to the ground layer it.leave it two years and then cut off the old growth and a new tree will grow up to replace it.

 

saying that from the photo their dosnt seem to be any shoots low enough to do that.

 

nice tree.
