No... But your local college may know of grants ect to get you trained for free. That's what I would look at before you go to the job centre ...

you have as much chance of the job centre helping you get your cs tickets as seeing a pink pig fly. tried when i was made redundant. had to be unemployed for 6 months and had to go on their courses to get back in work. 2 mins in office walked out never to go back useless

Job Centre won't fund your CS30/31 for you. There are some getting back to work and retraining grants out there but there is always a lot of paperwork and hunting down required to find the right one for you. Usually easier and quicker to try to get the money together yourself, whether through saving from pt job or frugal living and saving on jsa.

 

You will be eligible for £200 towards it from the ILA as mentioned which does take the cost down to a more manageable level.

If you haven't been to collage already I think you can get onto a collage course for practically nothing and have the bills covered by grants/government funding, you get a few cs units as part of your course as well as a well rounded understanding of arb;)

That's true but it's better to go looking for the work than wait till your collage hooks you up
