I wasted lots of money with yell and other people claiming it would better my website,

better to add loads of tags and not spend money, even now, spending no money Im on the 1st page of google at the bottom

We wasted loads of money with Yellat first, I 'm not that clever with computers and next I paid someone to work on the web site, it is on 1st page google now, so was worth it I think.

thanks fella's...I'm as green as grass when it comes to this stuff!..I'll get my eldest lad on the case and pass on your advice...

No worries - hope it was of at least some help!?

I did mean what I said about the designs - if that was done by someone who's not a web designer by trade, I'm very impressed.

arbogrunt, if you want some web traffic straight away go for google adwords. you can get your website to the top of the page within 10 mins of setting it up.

also, facebook ads on the right hand side are great for targeting people who live exactly where you want to work and are of an age where they could own a tree. i.e. not 25 or younger.

If it needs to be free, go for Google Maps with a shed load of reviews.
