Belt Tension - TW150

Hi

At the back of all Timberwolf manuals is a belt tensioning guide for most models

For your TW150DHB for instance new belts being fitted will need to be tightened sufficientlty to see a 4mm movement (deflection) when a force of 3.7-4 kgs is applied, this reading needs to be taken from mid point between the pulleys at the longest span of belt, and can only be acheived accurately with the correct guage.

Without using a guage it will be less exact but if the delection is set to 4mm with a moderate force from your finger this will probably suffice, dont forget belts will stretch and this will need to be checked/adjusted after a few hours running.
