Predator F350/14 Advice

Hi all, can I have some advice please.

At the arb show in Gloucestershire last year I purchased a Predator F350/14,the build quality looked good and I,ve used various grinders over the past 20 yrs.

Within a couple of weeks the rubber stone protectors began to tear and come off, then the rubber engine mountings failed so belt tension couldn't be carried out! Thirdly the fold down stand kept falling down on its own impeding the grinding process.

Fourth, the throttle wouldn't stay open(checked the spring ...not that).

Finally this week the exhaust literally broke apart and fell off!

The machine has probably done an absolute maximum of 30 hrs.

Predator run a multi tip wheel on these ,are they too vicious

My questions are :

Has anyone else had issues like these with this model?

What would you do in my situation?

What should I expect when contacting predator?

Maybe give them a call to discuss the issues, but the predator 350 is a laski machine, so it can be seen in various versions from Greenmech, Predator and a few others which i forget. Its a bomb proof design, i have the 450 and i too have found these faults with mine. The rubbers will fall off and tear due to the nature of how they are worked, i have now replaced mine with chains. The throttle will work loose but should just be an adjustment or the tightening of a nut (i may be wrong but on the basis of the 450 it should be!). My exhaust has also snapped 3 times at the manifold. An easy fix with a welder but as you say at 30 hours this shouldnt happen and maybe an additional bracket may be needed somewhere.

The multitip is aggressive but very good at what it does. Im sure you will get a good response from the boys at Predator.
