I don't think Capel suffered because of Cutters and Climbers either, a change of organising management, change of layout, dodgy economy haven't helped. Last years report in Forestry Journal was probably another nail in its coffin. And to be honest, take a strong Arbtalk following out of the crowd and that didn't leave many other folks looking around. It was probably my favourite show of the year, kicking off the season, and I'd follow it up popping up to Norfolk on the Sunday for the C&C. TBH if C&C had been held at Capel that show would be unbeatable.

That's the truth! It could be so good but people with no focus organise it, if they don't understand what people want to see then how are they going to provide it?!

 

Shame but perhaps inevitable, i'd give it another go if they promised a complete revamp and events. Not that it's going to happen.

 

Oh and industry and competition supporting companies like Treeworker being around really helps, maybe there needs to be more forethought...
