hole in my husky 385xp fuel tank

if you are plastic welding make shore you degrease the surface well i normally put a v grove along the crack then heat it up with a hot air plastic welder the important thing is to use the same type of plastic to make shore it bonds properly. I have not repaired a husky tank but have repaired a few strimmer tanks without any problems

Yep that's what I did , as I said above , used a Lister Hot air welder with remote blower . Cut strips of filler rod from another old tank . Worked a treat .
