Hmrc refund e-mail

The wife recived a e-mail from HMRC today saying i'm entitled to a tax refund, give me your details etc etc. Problem is i dont use her e-mail address anymore. Bit dodgy me thinks. BEWARE

Yes, very dodgy! Don't respond. This scam does the rounds at this time of year.

I get at least 10 a week, today i have won 2.5m on the postcode lottery and all they wanted was my name, address,occupation and i dare say later on they would want my bank details so they could deposit my win directly into my account.

Sounds like you need to adjust your spam filter.

Do you think if i gave them my old bosses details he would be happy. He does owe me £1500
