i need 500 tons of road planings,

any one know where i can get them?

If you phone your local authority highways department they should be able to tell you who has a contract to buy them, there'll be a yard full of planings somewhere....

Not that it helps you but in Worcestershire they go to D Talbot at Stourport....

I know somewhere in worcester does £160 a load.

 

Also worth ringing round large independent road sweeper companies. I can get few tonnes for free. But 500 is pushing it a bit!

Glendennings of Ashburton were £9.00/Tonne delivered for artic loads, you should get a good discount for 500 tonne.

 

Brookings of Lodiswell now run Hanside Haulage who had the stone recycling tip at Leemill.
