Hey guys

I have been sometimes using the friction saver with micro pulley and my rope over another main branch / trunk to create 2 anchor points. it makes me feel alot better with 2 anchor points. what are some other options i can use? like friction saver, etc... ? can i use webbing?

thanks alot

Sorry, still not 100% sure what you're driving at!

Do you mean as a single tie in point, as in what sort of cambium / friction saver would people recommend? In which case it's a choice between a basic 2 ring cambium saver, adjustable MultiSaver (I really like mine) adjustable FimblSaver (next big thing?) PulleySaver (bit of a nuisance to install & retrieve, I use the MultiSaver on ddrt more that the PulleySaver now having access to SRT gear) home made pulley saver (good solution, save a fortune) or Rope Guide (expensive, flash, never used one)

If you mean what can you use to create multiple tie ins, then anything rated. There's no reason why you couldn't choke webbing onto a tip and hang a pulley off it, so long as everything is strong enough.

Just remember your force principles. If you haven't yet seen this document have a look at it.. :thumbup1:

Sounds like you just need to start trusting your anchor points, a tape loop, biner and pulley will do the job. Going over a branch and a pulley sounds like hard work and is unecessary. I climb on a pulleysaver which is nice but given the choice again would go for a ropeguide as its just engineered a lot better and is easier to retreive, has a fall arrest system and a lot more i havnt got time to get into.
