I recently purchased an 084 and it is a monster and great for logging up big stuff. I've never "needed" bigger than a 36 inch bar but it does make life easier. If I was going to have one or the other it would be the 660. If it's a every day saw with a 25 inch bar I'm happy with the 441. Having both is great as two guys can make a big stem small quick, useful when you have too carry it out of a back garden As to hauling the 84 up a tree, it isn't something I'd want to do often.

If your planning on using this everyday with only a 25" then i'd say go for something even smaller such as a 441 or 460. I wouldn't want to be running a 66 everyday if i didn't have to. But out of the two you' ve choosen i'd say the 66.

66 is a cracking saw will run a 36" bar all day long.

I would only get something bigger if I had ALOT of really big timber to ring up.

Havent needed one yet, well suppose I could have done with one a few times but a grand is a lot to be sitting in the shed for 95% of the year.

I've used an 84 and a 3120 with 36" bar up a tree a couple of times when subbing but that was only because they didnt have a 66 :001_smile: its not something I would ever want to do again tbh :blushing:
