If its green cord, I guess £30 is the top price roadside.....

Apologies, Softwood supplied in trunks, a lorry load of ... £60 per m3 delivered ... like I say not done this before so if I confuse.com anyone, apologies once again. I've spy an opening in my little corner of Cornwall/Devon and am in the middle of researching prices, reliability etc etc as I don't think the local contacts, farmers, tree work etc would be reliable enough as a going concern... which little corner of devon / cornwall do you mean? There are a LOT of log merchants in that area!

Ok thanks for that, at least I can 'negotiate' with a bit more confidence now or certainly be able to compare ... would £50 be a fairer sum or much lower? Thats with delivery and vat mind.

£60/m3 for unprocessed 3m lengths of softwood is Crazy money. just pay by the tonne and get a weight ticket from the haulier. £35/t max up this way delivered

Nick channer told me a full load on a wagon(25 ton ish) is about 45 to 47 cube if thats an help ?
