First saw

I have a 211 and it's an ok saw. Light weight nice and handy to have next to chipper for nipping up awkward unions that wont go through.

If i where you i'd look at a second hand ms390 or similar. Their still light, run a 3/8 chain and when a 16" bar is fitted it's a potent package. Still enough grunt to run a 20" bar if needed.

I personally have a 048 with 20" bar that i use most lol it's big heavy with bags of grunt and when you've used it all week you know you've earned your cash. But it's robust and will run forever!

Have you tried dropping Spudulike a PM to see if he has anything around that may suit your budget? He tends to buy and refurbish (when he gets time between fixing forum members' saws and doing outrageous porting jobs )

It won't be new, but it will be properly fixed and you can have confidence of help in the event of any unforeseen issues.
