Countryside management is a useful course, is it classed as conservation? I did a conservation course and the woodland management unit helped me understand a ton of stuff, whilst it doesn't teach you too much, you will pick up loads in the first few years once you've done your saw courses, and the other units on countryside such as heathland will help in understanding the type of area you're dealing with, with specific trees, their needs and how they link together

My course is definately countryside management but i think they do run conservation courses so your was probably simmilar lol

 

yer so far im learning all sorts of aspects and its really interesting,

 

just need to get a good work placement to put the knowledge into practice lol

Try and get as much experience in as many of the countryside sectors as possible, the more you understand the better, plus it will make you more versatile, I doubt any arb could say he makes money from trees alone!
