Hi All.

My normal supplier has let me down somewhat. ( family member so say nothing).

Anyway. I'm after a flat bed transit tipper load of barn dried logs. Size between 8 and 12 inches.

I would like it delivered to DE45 1WR and would prefer mixed hard and soft wood. Can offer cheque, cash or credit card as payment.

Mods. If this request is out of order please either lock or delete this post and please accept my apologies.

Otherwise for those interested in supplying please pm me.

thanks

Thanks logbaron :thumbup1:

@norush - There are lots of places around us with signs outside saying logs for sale. You wouldn't believe how many are next to or in old quarry works.

Only not going to any of then as I've taken advantage of some of the expertise on here (in other forum areas) and now I have the opportunity to repay the kindness if you like by placing an order with one of the memebers.

Thats right Jonty, make arbtalk members fight each other for who does business with you :)

I note the :001_smile: and hope that statement is tongue in cheek however for the avoidance of doubt.

I Have absolutely no plan to do any such thing. I understand the work that goes into producing firewood, that people need to earn money to keep their business going as well as support themselves. I'm not going to get any fancy equipment out and start measuring moisture or ask that the load is stacked for me.

I'm very fortunate in that cost is not a primary concern. Was hoping that I could put some business the way of a local suplpier through a site which has helped me in the past.

I apologise if anyone has taken this thread in any other way.

As in the first post MODS, please lock or remove if you see fit.
