Hello, I have a 2008 timberwolf 150 vtr monday we start her up and found the speed rollers didn't seem to be turning as fast a usual! So not pulling in as aggressive as it usually does, but we preserved, Tuesdays we get to work and its back to normal pulling in really well and speed rollers flying around. The chippers fully serviced all filters new blades, and rollers greased regular. So any idea what this could be as its fine now just curious as to what it could of been.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Scott

The symptoms you describe are very odd.

Your feed rollers have a single speed which is governed by the flow rate from the hydraulic pump. I can only think there may have been a temporary obstruction within the hydraulic system, causing a flow rate reduction.

It is possible the hydraulic spool valve was not fully open or maybe the hydraulic pump belt was slipping?:confused1:

If this re occurs give Timberwolf's technical helpline a call on 01449 765820

Yes I thought it must have been the hydraulic flow, the only thing I can think I did was when I put it back on the trailer monday i moved the tracks in and out a few times thinking it may unblock somthing put it on the trailer and tuesday it was running a treat and has continued to.
