Mates offered me his 2010 ms250 that he's used about 5 times from buying new.. He's given me first refusal to buy for £150 or he wants me to eBay it for him.. Is it worth buying?

I had one when I started out hardwood thinning. It lasted about a month. Wouldn't oil properly and then started throwing AV rubber bushes. Quite high vibrations too.

 

I'd say just get a pro saw.

Looks like a good deal for a near new saw. It isn't a pro saw but up to cutting a bit of firewood - worth buying IMO. The oiler problem mentioned before will probably be the arm slipping around the pinion gear - simple fix:thumbup:
