Hi could you guys help I've been offer some hardwood manly ash its at road side dose not look like their is a Lorry load been told it's £45 a cube dose that sound a good price? ?

Usually wood roadside sells by the tonne

 

I think 1 tonnes makes about 2 cube, £90 per tonnes is expensive, for cordwood.

 

 

On the other had if its very local & just some for your own use and you can move it cheaply its not a bad deal.

£40-45 cubic metre is about right. Ash, birch, sycamore is usually sold by cube but works out Ashe per load as any other hardwood.. My artic Carrys round 25 metres if its cut to 3m lengths.
