Hello,

im wondering if the standard 4 wrap prussik will work with the hitch climber pulley slack tending set up? Outlined in this video. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2K_m3g2LiSU]Hitch climber setup - YouTube[/ame]

i used it and it worked fine, just want to make sure i dont fall

I wouldnt bother it doesnt work with a prussik it gets to tight and just doesnt work, i would stick to normal prussik or look into the prefered hitch climber knots as they work better.

 

By normal prusik you mean a 4 wrap girth hitch essentially?

hello gentlemen. thank you. i need to clarify

i have the ocean polyester eye to eye 30" prusik cord. the prusik i am using is NOT the one in the video. it is the 'prussik loop' "double girth hitch". im not following the video just want to be sure im safe. thanks

 

If you have that cord try it in a vt... :thumbup1:
