Cool,

 

Thanks mate , got it very cheap and was going to use it as a trim saw, so it sounds perfect .

 

anyone have any idea how much they cost when new ?

and when did they stop selling them ?

From what I know on the 3900 made 3 years only in early 90's. I would guess the 3600 would be close to that since on same IPL.

 

Here the 3900 was close to $299 USD new I was told by the oringal owner of one of my 3900.

Hi thanks for the info ,

 

mine is like this :

I do love Echos , very great solid saws. and very easy to work on and keep clean, as I have said before my 8000 is a beast , running a 24" bar on it now and it seems comfortable with that size, I know it can take a larger bar , but it just seems very happy with a 24".
